Omaha’s Landing on the Moon has plenty of love to go around. The band operates as a family, containing a married couple, a brother and sister set, and two friends that are like brothers. LOTM's music is edgy and powerful, yet comforting. It embraces you. It is most heavily influenced by rock and classical styles. At times, it also incorporates influence from alt-country and avant-garde. The make-up of the band consists of keyboards/piano, heavy bass, busy drums, and two dueling guitars, with three of the members handling the vocal duties. Each member of the band has a hand in the songwriting process.

Landing on the Moon was assembled in November of 2004, performing live for the first time in June of 2005. In the first year since the band's live debut, LOTM has played 12 amazing shows, garnering a significant amount of notoriety, and becoming increasingly more popular with each performance. In those 12 shows, the band has already done a mini Midwest tour and has already played a sold-out auditorium show opening for Epic recording artist, The Fray. The band released its debut EP in January of 2006, which was entirely written, recorded, mixed and produced by the band, itself. LOTM plans to do it's first full scale tour of the US in late summer of 2006.
